The job

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a highly experienced and creative team in a fast moving and demanding but rewarding food category.

As Laboratory Technician / Raw Materials Coordinator, your role is maintain the lab raw material stock and provide a support function to the team. You will carry out daily stock management adhering to company protocols, maintain and monitor lab supplies, report faulty equipment for repair, record keeping of raw materials stock uploading data to the IT systems for wider company use plus support the team with compounding and application.


Your experience

We are looking for an organised individual who is ideally educated to a degree level in a food science, food technology or related discipline and/or possess some food industry/laboratory experience. Essentially, you will possess a strong passion for food, be a creative self-starter and have sensory abilities. A fork lift licence is desirable.

The Laboratory Technician / Raw Materials Coordinator job is based in the East Anglia region and is paying £18,000 - £20,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 5.15pm (4pm finish on a Friday), 36.25 hours per week.
