The job

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to gain varied experience in a manufacturing environment or perhaps you have experience working in the industry and are looking to progress your career.

As Technical & Quality Executive, the main purpose of your role is to maintain, implement and update the site technical and quality systems.

You will maintain the raw material & packaging acceptance and monitoring systems, assess raw materials and product formulations for approval, ensure compliance with company and UK, EU and international standards where applicable, maintain company product & raw material specifications, monitor factory activities and ensure compliance, investigate and respond to customer complaints, conduct internal audits, assist with supplier approval systems and maintain traceability system and records.

Your experience

You will ideally be educated to a degree level in a chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or microbiology discipline and/or have previous technical experience working within the vitamin, supplement or food industry. You will preferably be familiar with food quality systems and UK/EU food or medicine regulations. You will also have a strong interest in nutrition, be able to collate and trend data plus be IT literate.

The Technical & Quality Executive job is based in the South East region and is paying a competitive salary according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm.
