This is excellent career opportunity to join a fast growing Food Manufacturing Group as a Site General Manager in Suffolk.

This is a critical appointment for our Client as Site General Manager of one of their complex food manufacturing sites.

As General Manager you will be responsible for leading the Site through its growth agenda into a Centre of Excellence.

Reporting into the Operations Director you will contribute to the Operations Strategy for this fast-paced chilled food manufacturing Site and hold full P&L accountability.

The people piece is key - you will be inspirational leader who is able to engage and get the best out of teams. You will be able to work in a matrix organisation and develop good relationships with key stakeholders and peers.

The ideal person will come from a chilled food manufacturing environment who is able to prioritise and set clear direction for teams through and motivational and empowering approach.

This is a highly complex operation producing high quality, innovative chilled products for major retail customers. The business has strong, long-standing relationships with UK retailers who really value the talented innovation team, site manufacturing standards and capabilities. Keen to build on this sound footing, our client wants a General Manager to take the site to the next level; maintaining its competitive edge in the market through driving a Continuous Improvement and "can do" culture.
