The Multi Skilled Engineer is a varied role, the key aspect of which is to be part of the field services team to provide a consistent, professional level of post-sales support to fulfil the service level agreements and expectations of customers.
You will visit customer sites to carry out planned and preventative maintenance checks as well as react to system breakdowns. You may also be required to support the installation team to help commission systems in preparation for customer ‘go live’.
You will be proactive and understand the financial implications of any customer down-time and work with the product management team to become an expert in company technologies.
As a holder of a recognised electrical qualification (e.g. ONC, HND, degree etc.), you will be an experienced Engineer within electrical and mechanical disciplines, preferably with food manufacturing experience. You will possess good analytical problem-solving capabilities, be able to organise your own workload and be conversant in H&S legislation. A full UK driving licence is essential.
The Multi Skilled Engineer job is a field based role covering several customer regions including the South West, South Central and Midlands with flexibility.
The role is paying £35,000 - £42,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus company vehicle, bonus scheme, pension and stand-by allowance.
