If you're still here then we're off to a good start. This engineering position is not like many others. You will be working in one of the biggest chilled food production factories in the North West, which has a strong emphasis on improvement and change.
The site recently changed from being a stand-alone factory in a national organisation to being an integrated part of the group. As such, standards have increased and there is a real drive for improvement - which is where you come in.
You will need to strive for efficiency and be open and willing to try new ideas - and if you can be the one to suggest those innovations, even better.
Being part of the team is more than just a cliché in this business. They may be a large, blue chip organisation but they have retained a close knit, family feel and as a result retention is high and the use of agency staff, incredibly low.
The site produces a wide range of chilled, added value, multi-component products for a variety of end retailers and it will be your responsibility to keep things running smoothly.
