Concept Development Technologist

Our client is looking for a Concept Development Technologist to assist the NPD Manager and join their expanding team, based in the South East. £30,000-£35,000 DOE.

Main Responsibilities

• Ownership and delivery of product launches from concept to launch, with adherence to all stages of the NPD process.
• Working in close partnership with the Development chefs, Process, NPD and Technical teams.
• Presenting to internal and external customers, adapting briefs as required
• Regularly visit stores with commercial team to review and discuss trends and new product opportunities.

Skills and experience

• The candidate must have at least 3 years experience in an NPD position – ideally in a chilled environment.
• The ability to proactively establish gaps in the market and upcoming trends.
• Contribute food industry insight into marketing plans.
• A food related degree would be preferable.
