This role is working for a well-established prepared foods manufacturer which produces great tasting products to the highest quality standards. Based in a modern, BRC accredited facility, the business work with some of the biggest and most progressive names in grocery retail, wholesale and convenience stores.

The Graduate NPD Technologist will role support the development and optimisation of the company product range in line with business strategy.

You will assist with the NPD projects from initial concept to launch, ensure adherence to critical paths for each project, assist with packaging development, be a part of factory trials identifying areas for improvement and assist in resolving any problems which arise from product recipe and process.

Your experience

The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree/HND level in a food science discipline and possess at least 1 years food development experience, either from within a university placement or full-time role. You will be looking to join a company where you can build a long term and successful product development career. Essentially, you will be extremely passionate about food, have a good understanding of the NPD process and any experience of chilled prepared products such as sandwiches, savoury snacks or food to go would be a distinct advantage.

The Graduate NPD Technologist job is based in the North West region and is paying £18,000 - £20,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
