As Hygiene Manager, the purpose of your role is to confirm the correct hygiene standards have been implemented and are being maintained across the manufacturing units.
You will verify and measure the delivery of the hygiene standards, ensure standards are maintained in line with customer and company requirements, ensure monthly verification audits are in place, trend hygiene data and results highlighting any issues, support internal and external audits representing the hygiene function, ensure PPE and hygiene consumables fulfil site requirements, provide insight on new cleaning materials, methods and equipment plus sit on and be part of the sites HACCP team.
To be considered for the role, you will possess strong hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment, ideally chilled/frozen, high-risk products. An experienced people manager, you will have excellent working knowledge of hygiene management systems and food industry working practices i.e. BRC, corrective action closure and internal auditing. Qualifications such as NEBOSH is an advantage.
The Hygiene Manager job is based in the London / South East region and is paying £30,000 - £45,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. This is a day shift role, however flexibility is required to cover night shifts and weekends as necessary.
