Job Title: Site Technical Manager
Location: East London
Salary: c£60 - £65K + car allowance & benefits
Candidate:
- Do you have a number of years' experience in the Technical sector in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
- Do you have experience of managing a Technical / Quality / Hygiene team?
- Are you passionate about Quality and Food Safety?
- Are you able to manage customer and enforcement authorities?

Role:
- Direct responsibility for all aspects of food safety and food quality on site
- Upholding the company values in terms of culture and attitude
- Responsible for the implementation of central standards & BRC Standard for Food Safety requirements.
- Manage the Budget for the Technical department. Accountable for the implementation of appropriate Financial Controls to ensure that the spend is appropriately managed and cost saving initiatives.
- Ensure all daily checks (HACCP/GMP/Due Diligence) are performed
- To ensure that any aspect that may affect Due Diligence is promptly and effectively addressed and communicated
- Responsible for all external and customer audits, ensuring that all non-conformances and corrective actions are closed out within agreed timescales
- Any other routine quality based tasks which are given and could include
auditing, product specs, product attributes, etc
