Our client is a long established and successful food manufacturer based in the South Midlands as a result of recent site expansion
they are now looking for an Operations Manager to autonomously run part of the business. As the Operations Manager you will
be responsible for the production, warehouse, planning and maintenance functions, ensuring all departments are well structured,
procedurally sound and KPI’s monitored.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead and develop your team to achieve all targets, with a strong focus on translating
a manufacturing strategy into a live operational plan to increase production efficiency and improve GMP standards across
production, packaging and warehouse. Your brief will be to drive efficiencies and deliver improved performance, customer
service and profitability, focusing on the key result areas of quality, output, cost and delivery. You will play a key role within the
senior management team and you will be pivotal in providing leadership to your areas and the site.
To be considered for this role you will have proven experience of increasing productivity and managing business growth in a
senior operational role, preferably within a BRC A Grade certified plant. With passion, drive, and an ability to implement change,
you should possess a positive approach to team leadership. The role will suit a candidate who can truly take the site forward.
