The job

As QA Technician, the purpose of your role is to drive and implement the correct technical, quality and food safety standards across the manufacturing unit.

You will ensure technical requirements are understood and implemented across the business and by the operations team, ensure monthly procedural audits are in place, ensure GMP audits are completed highlighting any trends, deliver the environmental and product micro and chemical monitoring programmes, collect samples and conduct taste panels, carry out calibration checks, conduct shelf life assessment, conduct CCP audits and address any non-conforming product/activity quickly to ensure company and retailer brands are protected.

Your experience

To be considered for the QA Technician role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, coupled with strong technical and food safety knowledge. You will have good working knowledge of technical management systems, have strong organisational skills and have the ability to analyse data and support in the formulation of action plans.

The QA Technician job is based in the London / South East region and is paying £23,000 - £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours will consist of 4 on, 4 off – there are 2 positions available, one working day shifts and one working night shifts.
