Reporting to the Technical Team Leader, you will contribute to the smooth running of the site by co-ordinating internal audits against GMP, GCA, CCP and HACCP whilst supporting with third party supplier and BRC audits. You will be required to support with the investigation of any quality issues that occur using RCA to prevent any recurrence.
You will ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date, maintaining systems and data to drive continuous improvements for products and quality management systems. Throughout your shift, you will be conducting taste & sensory panels as well as end of life sampling, capturing your results for analysis and trends. Additionally you’ll conduct hygiene swabs to ensure the highest cleaning standards implementing any corrective actions. You’ll be a part of the new equipment risk assessment process and delivering any training requirements as well as ensuring a robust environmental monitoring program.
We are looking for a Food Technology or Science graduate who has developed their Technical and QA knowledge within a high-risk food manufacturing environment and is now looking to take the next step. Previous experience of co-ordinating systems and maintaining key product documentation is essential as you’ll be instrumental in keeping the company’s high quality standards. In addition you’ll have conducted audits and implemented controls to improve product quality in accordance with HACCP and BRC requirements. Your keen eye for detail is also vital for succeeding in this role along with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams.
