The Position: National Account Manager, ABUKI

Region: ARYZTA UK

Location: Home (Access to Kettering & London)

Reports to:UK Sales Controller

Overall Purpose of role:

To manage & develop customer relationships within the designated account base and to deliver annual plan for the customer in line with ABI agreed business strategy.

Key Working relationships:

              Internal

  • Reports to the UK Sales Controller
  • Close working relationship with Commercial team, NPD, Technical, Insight, Operations & Supply Chain


External

  • Buyer & cross-functional relationships within designated account

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • To ensure consistent delivery and execution of an excellent consumer experience to designated accounts
  • Responsible for delivery of the account budget for volume, revenue & EBITDA performance
  • Understand the retailers trading & operations strategy & ensure plans are aligned to deliver success
  • Build and develop strong working relationship with the relevant Buyer and ensure regular face to face presence within the account
  • Key contact for all day to day activity within the account
  • Understand retailer reporting systems and how to access information
  • Analyse business performance using all available data to ensure the budget is delivered and identify issues in a timely fashion & create corrective action plans
  • Keep the business updated on new development opportunities
  • Provide accurate & timely forecasting to the bakeries
  • Manage risks and opportunities within the plan
  • Build comprehensive product knowledge across ARYZTA & competitors
  • Understand ARYZTA  bakery capabilities
  • Understand key trends across all bakery categories
  • Demonstrate product & category knowledge to buying team
  • Complete all account administration (internal & external)

Skills & Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working within a commercial environment in FMCG is essential
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with Key Customers
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a broad diversity of responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and to build and sustain effective working relationships across all levels of the business
  • Highly motivated individual with strong initiative
  • Must demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team within a fast paced environment
