Assistant Technical Manager
Assistant Technical Services Manager job opportunity focused on supporting the Technical Services Manager to work closely with customers and operations teams to deliver, monitor and sustain customer's Hygiene Solutions.
THE ROLE requires a Food Technologist with quality and hygiene experience to provide support to the Technical Manager by supporting the operations team to conduct effective trials and then implement and support the live solutions.
The Key responsibilities with this role include:
·Reporting on baseline performance metrics which will demonstrate the effectiveness and cost efficiencies of solutions
·Support on-site customer evaluations to assess the impact of change to the customer environment and produce hygiene risk reduction strategies
·Support customer to optimise manufacturing hygiene standards and ensure performance is sustainable through clear documented systems
·Prepare training materials and update of customer specific web portals
·Support customer in the production and maintenance of detailed cleaning instructions and schedules for all hygiene activity within your remit
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE will have a good Technical and Hygiene background in the Food Industry as well, but not limited to the following:
·Degree in biochemistry or food science
·Minimum of one-year experience of technical management within a food manufacturing environment
·Flexible approach to working as some weekend work may be required
·Working knowledge of a HACCP environment
·Experience in a retail standards and audit environments e.g. Tesco's, BRC.
