Project Manager with an Engineering biased background to lead, manage and co-ordinate Capital Plant Installations in the Food Sector - working closely with the customer and delivery teams.
THE ROLE requires a capable Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering multiple high value projects of up to £1 million.
The TOP 6 Key responsibilities with this role include:
1.Build strong customer relationships, providing excellent customer service
2.Work closely with sales to understand required features and to partner in the development of innovative solutions to meet customer requirements
3.Mitigate risks through detailed planning and applying processes consistently
4.Commercial management of sub-contractors
5.Prepare and validate budgets, maintain accurate cost reports and cost-to-complete forecasts
6.Work with multi-disciplinary teams including chemists, engineers, buyers, account managers, quality controllers and outside vendors
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE will have strong Project Management Skills and background in Food or FMCG Manufacturing as well, but not limited to the following:
·Technically trained, practical engineer, minimum HNC, preferably BEng/MEng
·2 years + project management experience
·Working knowledge of engineering construction specifications and standards
·Ability to apply sound engineering principles to design projects and provide technical contribution on specific site solutions
·Previous capital project and site engineering experience
·Experience preparing project budgets, scopes and managing sub-contractors
