This role is responsible for leading a senior management team to operational excellence. With full site responsibility the Site Operations Manager provides the perfect opportunity to make an impact and get results.

Our client is a well known, market leading food manufacturer



Description





Reporting into the Group Operations Manager this role will have full site autonomy. The key responsibility is planning the strategic future of the sites operations.

Other day to day responsibilities will include:



-Ensure plant safety is prioritised at all times



-Hold regular meetings to discuss progress against plan to maximise plant performance



-Delegate tasks and encourage ownership



-Work to structured KPI's and reports back on progress



-Build on a forward thinking, improvement led team culture



Profile

The successful Operations Manager will need to hit the ground running with a range of the following:



- Experience managing a food manufacturing or processing plant including full budget control



- Relevant qualification (ideally degree level)



- Have managed multiple process improvement projects with tangible, data driven examples



- Strong problem solving and team working skills



- Worked pro-actively to implement change and consistency challenge efficiency excellence



-Ability to fulfil the companies needs long term



-Ambition to progress in career and lead development within team progression
