The job

Due to business restructure, a brand new role and team has been created which will report directly into the COO with the responsibility of crafting the equipment strategy. Excellent progression opportunities are available. Your role will sit on the cutting edge of the business combining analytical thinking, creativity and execution across multiple platforms.

As Equipment Innovation Manager, you will design/source, develop, validate and implement new innovative equipment platforms that can transform operations. Reporting to the Head of Equipment and Engineering, you will have direct responsibility for developing new equipment innovation, driving commercial efficiency (TCIU), owning vendor relationships, managing substantial budgets and will be a key central contact for the business across the globe on equipment innovation.

Your experience

You will possess an engineering degree preferably mechanical, production, manufacturing, electrical/electronic with previous experience in retail industry. You should be a self-starter, practical and used to delivering big things to tight deadlines and demonstrate exceptional leadership behaviours. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, with a passion for creativity and innovation while maintaining attention to the smallest details. You will be financially astute, with experience of holding budgetary responsibility and the ability to communicate effectively
