Financial Assistant

Position: Finance Assistant
Location: Essex
Salary: £18,000 - £21,000 per annum

We are looking for someone that is energetic and wanting to start their next career move with a forward-thinking company that invests in people.

The Finance Assistant role involves:
*Support the financial accountant in effective running of accounts payable function.
*Ensure supplier invoices are posted on time and accurately
*Ensure GRNI balances are kept within target and supplier accounts are periodically reconciled
*Ensure suppliers paid to their terms
*Process staff expenses
*Carry out sales ledger and purchase ledger accountabilities

Ad-hoc duties:
*Preparation of KPI's
*Assisting with weekly accounts
*Petty cash
*Credit card expenses administration

The ideal candidate
*The Successful Applicant would either have their AAT or working towards qualifying
*Worked in a similar role previously, and have "all round" Accounts experience
*Ability to work under pressure
*Strong IT skills including Excel
*Good analytical skills including
