My client is a Global Food Organisation that is well known for some of the UK & Irelands most notable brands. They are also a leading producer of supermarket private label products such as chilled and frozen ready meals, cooked meats and dairy products.



Description

My client is looking for an experienced Specifications Technologist to support the on site team. Key responsibilities include:

Complete submission forms for all customers

Write technical specifications for all customers

Proof artwork and packaging

Conduct and challenge cooking instructions

Manage NPD samples

Develop quality attribute sheets / Complete organoleptic panel.

Completion of internal/ customer technical documentation

Complete any other customer technical information to specific customer requirements to agreed timescales.

Ensuring/ completing departmental KPI's ensuring targets are met.

Internal auditing of customer policies / COP's.

Maintain contacts, BRC certificates and HACCP info on customer spec systems.

Profile

As the Successful Specifications Technologist you will need to be ambitious and passionate about your career and you will possess knowledge of Factory process and technical capability in relation to the transition of product specifications.

• Possess a working knowledge of HACCP/food safety.
• You will be a strong influencer at all levels
• Understand the legal requirements of food labelling and development
• Qualified to degree level in food science or similar subject ideally
