You will be working for a well-established international business which sources the highest quality produce and through using great attention to detail, are dedicated to producing exceptional products which are distributed all throughout the UK and internationally.
This is a challenging and rewarding role where your aim will be to maximise production yields from raw material stock. The business has just completed its most successful ever year for volume and profitability and you will play a key role in continuing this achievement going forward for the next year.
You will analyse and manage raw material inventory levels, use data to calculate potential finished product volume, keep accurate and up to date stock records, manage the shelf life of stock, ensuring all materials are on hand to meet the production plan, manage availability and continuously think of ways to improve efficiency and minimise waste.
You will be educated to a degree level, preferably in a data analyst or business related discipline plus possess at least 1-2 years experience within a similar analytical position within the food & beverage industry, most preferably agriculture, crops, fresh produce etc. To succeed, you will have excellent number crunching skills, have fantastic attention to detail, be familiar working with large volumes of statistics plus be IT literate in software e.g. Excel, ERP, SAP etc.
The Raw Materials Data Analyst job is based in the East Anglia region and is paying £25,000 - £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. This is a 1-year fixed term role with the potential to become permanent.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.
