Procurement and Supply Chain Manager (Excellent Expat Opportunity)
Renowned for quality, innovation and a diverse product range of protein based products, our client continuous to strengthen their already successful senior operations team, with the appointment of a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager. The key responsibilities for this position will include managing all aspects of purchasing, production & materials planning, forecasting, purchase & sales order processing, and demand planning.
You will produce capacity plans which will enable production to meet customer sale demands, and maintain an inventory planning system which forecasts demand to optimise efficiency and service levels. You will oversee the weekly production plan, liaise with the major customers regarding promotional campaigns and conduct a weekly planning meeting with key stakeholders.
In addition to this, you will also be involved in regular meetings with suppliers to negotiating purchase prices, third-party finished product prices and supply agreements, with a materials budget. You will monitor supplier service levels and quality performance whilst building solid supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar supply chain/purchasing manager role preferably in meat or poultry sector. You will have excellent communication, negotiating and relationship building skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
