Packaging Technologist – (FTC)

The Company

This world class business lead the market with the quality of their products and innovation. They are looking to strengthen their NPD team with the addition of a new Packaging Technologist who can work across a number of markets across the globe.

The Role

This is a multifaceted role where you will be part of the NPD team and be accountable for delivering all the design and print initiatives for the brand. This will be for new products as well as brand redesign projects across different global markets.  You will work cross-functionally with internal teams, international marketing teams, design agencies and packaging suppliers to ensure the design and delivery of exceptional products that consumers will love.

Working closely in collaboration with Process and NPD teams, you will deliver successful projects to market through inspiring packaging solutions. Key responsibilities include;

• Continually striving to raise the bar for packaging quality whilst balanced with a commercial appreciation.
• Collaborating with Process and NPD teams throughout product briefs, ensuring the flawless delivery of products from every aspect.
• Liaising with both internal and international markets, influencing at a distance to provide multiple cultural styles with products they love.

The Person

This role would suit a creative and driven Packaging Technologist who is looking to build on their existing knowledge of packaging and design.  A Diploma / degree in Packaging would be desirable as well as an understanding of the packaging industry, print techniques and artwork design process.

Previous experience within food / drinks / FMCG is essential where you have worked with NPD to deliver packaging solutions, gained amazing project management as well as the ability to influence key stakeholders.  You will have second to none organisation and prioritization skills, a meticulous eye for detail and be commercially aware. The ability to build strong collaborative relationships is a must, utilising this to advocate company values and a positive working ethos.
