National Account Manager

This is a great opportunity to join a large chilled food group who supply own branded products into all the major retailers. A well recognisable product, the business is innovative and can offer a rewarding working environment plus progression within the company for the right candidate.
As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the company / ASDA portfolio, encompassing supply from other sites within the group across own label ranges and leading brands.
You will build and own trading relationships with multiple buyers across chilled prepared, ready meals, gluten free and food to go ranges. You will prepare and present monthly meetings which will include promotional planning, ‘ability to sell’ reviews and other supply related products including Christmas and other seasonal events. The role will also involve travel to other sites within the group.
We are looking for an individual with a strong track record in sales development and account management, most desirably selling into one of the major UK retailers. You will have a proven history of developing and retaining business and building genuine and effective relationships with customers, delivering outstanding results. A full UK valid driving licence and flexibility to travel is essential. Home working may also be an option when necessary.
The National Account Manager job is based in the West Midlands regions and is paying £30,000 - £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus benefits including company pension, 33 days holiday, childcare vouchers plus learning and development opportunities.
