Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Manager

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join this multinational food and drink business, with a major high street presence.

·Generally, the role can be completed within normal working hours Monday to Friday, however, on occasion, it may be necessary to work outside of these hours for calls with other countries in different time zones.
·There may be a small amount of travel depending on the needs of business.


THE REGULATORY AFFAIRS MANAGER
·Responsibility for food/beverage/food contact materials compliance in EMEA markets.
·Overall responsibility for successful completion of regulatory tasks (formulation/labelling/registration) as part of new business platforms.
·Participating in cross-functional planning meetings to provide regulatory guidance of new projects and entry into new markets.
·Providing full regulatory support to Food Service, CPG and Manufacturing teams.
·The role currently has 2/3 direct reports and it will also require a high level of interaction with various cross functional teams within the business and other regions.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
As important as your experience and job capabilities will be your communication skills and team fit. Along with your interpersonal skills you will also need:
·A degree in Food Science / Food Technology
·A strong background in a similar Regulatory Affairs role within the food & drink industry. (Essential)]
·High level of knowledge in EU and international regulatory affairs
·Knowledge of other EMEA languages highly desirable but not essential.
