The company

A position has just become available working for an extremely passionate business which is dedicated to producing only the finest and highest quality products which are supplied to high end clients.

The job

The main purpose of the role is to assemble orders correctly and in a timely manner, ready for dispatch.

You will pick the correct products and quantity according to the picking sheets, check and record all product use by dates onto pallet sheets, assemble orders onto pallets ready for distribution, keep the freezer area tidy ensuring goods are dispatched using correct stock rotation system, ensure 3^rd party haulage companies complete documents correctly, record stock figures as required and carry out deliveries to customers ensuring all relevant paperwork Is completed on arrival.

Your experience

We are looking for an organised individual who has similar experience in a food production, warehousing or similar environment. You will have high attention to detail, have good communication skills as this is a customer facing role and a full UK driving licence is essential as you will be completing deliveries (using a Mercedes Sprinter van). A forklift truck licence is also highly desirable. Please note this is a physically demanding role.

The Cold Stores Operative, Van Loader & Driver job is based in the London region and is paying £20,000 - £22,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm or 9am – 6pm with the possibility of some weekend overtime.
