Quality Supervisor

Speedibake has bakery sites in Wakefield and Bradford specialising in own-label baked goods, we supply to a customer base across all channels; foodservice wholesalers, contract catering, end users, export and retail.

The Quality Department at Speedibake are looking to recruit a conscientious and tenacious individual to join the department as Quality Supervisor for their facility based in Wakefield.

You need to be passionate about quality with supervisory experience, a good understanding of hygiene, GMP standards and BRC / customer audit requirements together with a drive to get things right and challenge the status quo.

Reporting to the Quality Manager the successful candidate will lead the factory Quality Team of 4 Quality Auditors, operating within the framework of HACCP and GMP to ensure that an effective and efficient Quality and Auditing service is provided.

You will be responsible for monitoring all products, processes, hygiene and GMP standards in the manufacturing environment and ensure they meet legislative and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in auditing in a Food Manufacturing environment
• A good understanding of hygiene and GMP standards
• Working knowledge of BRC standard
• Level 3 Food Safety
• Level 2 HACCP
• A drive to get things right
