The successful candidate will be selling the brand with pride and passion in order to achieve preferred supplier status.
You will set and agree the annual sales budget and develop account plans to realise the sales budget. You will be responsible for existing and new business with the main focus being relationship management of key accounts while further improving market share by growing existing partnerships and developing new opportunities.
The successful candidate will be provided with an extensive 3-6 months training programme where you will become an expert on the company and all products. This knowledge will be acquired during internal and external training along with a development program.
You will be an experienced food industry Account Manager or similar, preferably within ingredients selling into further food manufacturing. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone that is looking for their 2nd role out of university and looking for a long-term career with the business. You will be a skilled negotiator, excel in relationship management plus be able to communicate on all levels. A degree or equivalent in a commercial or business related discipline and a full UK valid driving licence are essential.
The Account Manager job is based at the company office in the North East UK, you will be looking after accounts in the Midlands, South and Ireland regions, therefore flexibility to travel regularly and stay away from home is essential.
The role is paying £30,000 plus company car, mobile phone and annual bonus scheme.
