Sensory Manager - Liquids - London

A leading global organisation in London is seeking a Sensory Manager (Liquids) to come on board. In this role you will be responsible for driving the performance of the Scientists in your team and driving the general performance of Sensory not only in the UK but across a Global Scale as they look to develop a world class Sensory Capability.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the delivery of the sensory elements of new products and R&D programs that contribute to the growth requirements of the business.
• Direct and lead sensory studies in key areas of the business
• Manage & oversee sensory panels including the selection, training and evaluation of these panels
• Provide direction and leadership on emerging and best practice sensory techniques, methods and facilities
• Manage the standardisation of test methods
• Keep up to date with the latest Sensory trends

Experience Required

• Advanced degree (M.Sc. or PhD) in a sensory related field as Food Science, Sensory Science or equivalent
• Significant practical experience in at least 2 sensory roles in food/beverage
• Experience in developing sensory capability in an organisation
• Strong Communication skills
• Strong Leadershi[ Capabilities
