We have fantastic opportunities for Despatch Operatives to join our team based in Atherstone, Warwickshire.

The function of the despatch department is to process finished Greencore-Food to Go products from Production through to the point of despatch.  This involves three main employment areas packing, picking and loading.  Wherever possible a level of multi-skilling would be advantageous.

***Please note that the shift pattern is Tuesday to Saturday 6am - 2pm***

Packer

The despatch packer receives finished products from production, checks their quality and packs the correct quantity into specified packaging.

Picker

The despatch picker selects products to fill customer orders in accordance with given specifications.

Loader

A loader works as a member of a team, loading, picked Greencore-Food to Go customer orders onto vehicles for delivery.

The metal checks are to be carried out every hour as it is a ccp (Critical control point). The check can take up to 40 minutes on days when another operative is carrying out the checks the individual would be expected to carry other Despatch role ,such packing a line.
