Logistics Manager (12 month FTC)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global, market leading food business which supplies some of the world’s leading companies in retail, out of home and industrial markets. The business continually redefines their product offer and pride themselves on developing and bringing innovative new products to market.
As Logistics Manager, you will help the supply chain team to establish, monitor and manage the movement of product and other goods into the main manufacturing site and to other sites where the business is temporarily producing.
Once the initial processes have been set up, you will continue to plan and coordinate short-term solutions into medium-term, whilst continuously evaluating performance and adapting processes to suit the needs of the business.
To be considered for the Logistics Manager role, you will possess a solid logistics and distribution planning background, most preferably within food manufacturing. Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics AX is also beneficial. You will have a calm, positive and methodical work approach plus have a “can-do” attitude.
The Logistics Manager job is based in the London / South East region and is paying a highly competitive salary according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, however, flexibility will be required.
