Maintenance Electricians / Maintenance Fitters, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire

We are recruiting for a leading Food Manufacturing Company who have vacancies in their maintenance team for:

Maintenance Electrician

Applicants must have experience and be qualified to City and Guilds and 17th Edition

The successful candidates will have the ability to diagnose and repair electrical and/or mechanical faults and provide maintenance to production equipment and premises, therefore industrial and machinery experience is essential.

Maintenance Fitter

The successful candidates will have the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults and provide maintenance to production equipment and premises, therefore industrial and machinery experience is essential. Some electrical knowledge and ability will be an advantage.

Applicants for either role must be reliable, efficient, have a flexible attitude to work content and be capable of working without supervision.

Hours of work: generally 0600 -1400, however with the nature of the role, the candidate must be flexible and willing to work overtime and shifts when necessary.

Salary: £30,326 + shift allowance for working other hours, overtime is paid at time and a half or double time on Sunday or bank holiday. Benefits include canteen with free vend drinks, free car parking; 25 holidays in addition to the 8 bank holidays, life insurance and pension.
