For starters you'll be straddling both technical and NPD.

The idea being that you develop into the site TM over time. That or move into a group NPD job…

The team have spotted a gap and need someone who can help to keep the site in line with BRC / customer standards, but also someone who has a strong food science background and can advise the NPD team on what the product is going to do at different stages of production.

If you've worked with complex products or cooking processes it'll really help you here.

For you, there's the added bonus of joining a company in a brand new role. A chance to take ownership and implement your ideas.

You'll be sitting just below the site TM so exposure to all areas of technical. Including supporting on supplier audits and getting in front of retailers.

The factory itself is in a good place with a recent BRC AA and good relationships with customers.

So for you there is a clear path to learn the site and become a Technical Manager… if you want to.
