QA Manager

The Company

As part of a leading international food group, this dynamic company supplies the major multiples with a wide range of market leading chilled products. They’re now looking for a dedicated QA Manager to join their thriving team and uphold their high quality standards across their twenty-four hour operation.

The Role

In this essential role you’ll help develop and implement the QA strategy through the effective management of teams and processes. Your responsibilities will include:

· Leading and supporting the QA team to drive high standards through monitoring and implementing KPIs.

· Managing quality systems and processes to guarantee consistent results, analysing audit and product data trends to resolve and prevent non-conformances.

· Ensuring the factory is in prime condition at all times in line with customer requirements as well as legislative measures including HACCP and BRC.

· Acting as the key interface between customers and internal Production teams to ensure all finished products are manufactured to specified quality standards.

The Person

Suit a motivated Quality Assurance professional educated to degree level with a Food Science or related qualification, and ideally a robust background in chilled food manufacturing. Essentially, you must have previous experience within QA and a sound understanding of the quality and technical aspects of food production, including a working knowledge of HACCP and internal Audit certification. You’ll be a strong influencer, able to use excellent communication skills to manage a team to achieve outstanding results. Critically, you will utlise a flexible and motivated attitude to drive Quality improvements.
