Senior Technical Manager

Our client is a leading foodservice business that produces a range of innovative products made with the finest natural ingredients. Due to extremely impressive levels of growth in recent years, we are looking to recruit a talented Senior Technical Manager to take ownership for the technical function.

The Technical Manager will be responsible for all aspects of food safety, ensuring products are made to the highest standards in line with internal and external regulations. You will oversee the suppliers ensuring they are fully compliant. The role will involve lots of travel across Europe, USA and Middle East working with a range of exciting suppliers across multiple categories.

The successful Senior Technical Manager will possess the following skills & experiences:

• Degree educated in a Food Science or related discipline
• Experience of working across a number of food categories including protein and fresh produce
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence key stakeholders
• A high calibre individual, with an entrepreneurial flair and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-sufficient, used to making high profile decisions and able to travel 1-2 weeks per month
