Job Title: Operations Manager/Production Manager
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: c£45k plus benefits

The company is a medical device company based in Manchester, but they have a global presence in the market. They are passionate in diagnostic and treatment challenges presented by Global Health. So far, the product they manufacture has been launched in Africa and the Asia Pacific region. The exciting news is that another 35 countries and counting have signed up the product this year! It's not your typical manufacturing environment so if you are used to a large factory environment this may not be for you.

The Role:

• You will take responsibility for the management of the Operations functions and ensure effective and timely delivery of the business priorities. Core areas of focus are anticipated to be Production, Logistics, Materials Management, Planning and Purchasing and Site Facilities.
• Managing daily, weekly, monthly KPI's
• You will manage a small team (there are only 4 reports currently)
• Responsibility for production, goods in/out, supply chain, planning and warehouse
• Regular phone contact with customers who are based world wide from Cardiff to China
• Working closely with the technical function

You:

• Educated to degree level
• Experience within manufacturing. Ideally this will be medical devices but if not, they will look at people with experience in food and FMCG
• Experience of end to end process from goods in to out and everything in between
