We are currently looking for an experienced Zone Manager to lead our High Risk team at our Convenience Foods site based in Bristol.

This role is working on a 4 on 4 off basis working night shifts of 6:00pm - 6:00am.

You will need to direct your team colleagues to follow Standard Operating Procedures whilst effectively managing the team to ensure that all colleagues including yourself are working safely at all times. You’ll lead and give your team focus, looking for opportunities for improvement in new processes and systems to enhance team performance. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that your team have the training they need to do their jobs as well as seeking to develop individual potential. As we are a multifunctional site you’ll also work across teams to build strong collaborative working relationships to deliver solutions to immediate issues to help support the site and customer objectives.

You will need to provide leadership and direction to your team therefore excellent communication skills will be key. You’ll also need to have hands on knowledge and experience within a factory setting, ideally in the Food industry, using that knowledge to make good robust decisions to resolve issues quickly.

Ideally you will have already achieved Level 2 in Food Safety Manufacturing however training will be provided.
