MorePeople are delighted to be exclusively working with Pipers Crisps as they seek to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic NPD & Sensory Coordinator to support their New Product Development department.

Pipers Crips was established in 2004 by three farmers who decided to produce great tasting crisps from local potato growers. They have since won countless awards and now export to the USA and Europe as well as having a huge presence in the UK. The brand itself is built on core values of integrity, teamwork, quality and commerciality.

The Job:

As NPD and Sensory Coordinator, you'll lead NPD projects from bench sample to product launch. You'll also lead Pipers' sensory program.

This will include:

Working with the Marketing team as you research new flavours and then develop on these ideas to produce a fantastic tasting crisp.
Carrying out sensory development, work with carefully selected flavour houses and sensory feedback.
Helping out with factory trials.
Running sensory training for staff.

The person:

The ideal person will:

Have strong knowledge of food science and functional ingredients.
Have experience of working in a similar role and food structure, process, factory trials, projects, reports and analysis.
Be happy to work in a stand-alone role.
Ideally have experience of LEAN manufacturing problem solving tools.
Be a flexible self-starter.
