Our client, a market leader in their industry, are looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join their growing team. A brilliant opportunity has become available based in Dunstable/Stevenage area to provide high level support to the warehouse team managing small teams delivering on all KPI's. This is a value add position to oversee all the activities are carried out and all functions are complete at end of every shift.
Job Role
You will work with the Warehouse Administration Manager leading and directing a team to ensure productivity, financial targets and health & safety standards are met and complied too.
Personal Profile
The ideal candidate will be need to have strong warehouse experience in the key areas below:
- Oversee all production, packaging, storage and distribution of product ensuring company standards are met
- All relevant documentation from ordering process through to dispatch is completed and compliant
- Planning of the teams output and shift patterns
- Managing all teams performances including; reviews, disciplinaries, grievances etc
- Manage budget inline maintaining cost levels are met and not exceeded
- Experience of change management systems
- Creating, setting and reviewing of KPIs for the Warehouse
- Health & Safety auditing, ensuring environment is safe to work in following legislation for chemical-based products
- Recruit, train and develop staff members - providing constant coaching and support
- Knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems
- Administration Duties - report writing, training programmes, general records etc
Hours
Shifts are rotated weekly based on a 37.5 hour working week:
Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00
Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00
