As Operations Manager - Fruit, you will take full responsibility for the day to day running of all operational production areas, ensuring the Health & Safety of all colleagues whilst maintaining and making improvements in all areas. You will be responsible and accountable for maintaining a balanced scorecard against KPIs to drive further growth across the site, to ensure we deliver great quality, in time, in full every time. You will be accountable for driving engagement within your area through improving colleague involvement in driving CI activity. You will need to have a clear focus on yield in order to help maximise profits and will take a driven and focused approach to our Daily Review Meeting system to drive performance improvement. A core part of the role involves being part of the senior leadership team on site which involves driving strategic change on site.

About You

You will currently be working as an Operations Manager, or equivalent, within a fast-paced production environment. We are looking for a Production Manager, ideally with experience of working within a Fruit facility that can really offer Morrisons the key specialism it needs within this role.

We would love for you to have a proven track record in an operational management role in particular delivering results, with a strong emphasis on leading, motivating and developing. Experience in leading and coaching managers to drive forward results and step change operational performance would also be a great advantage, and would be in line with the expectations of our current managers.

You will have a good working knowledge of the tools and techniques of Continuous Improvement and how to integrate them into a business.
