They are currently recruiting for a Factory Shift Manager to join their Newport site which produce 'best in class' ready meals predominantly for M&S. This large purpose-built site currently employs around 1400 people, whilst turning over £140 million. This site is a fast paced, dynamic and 'no two days the same' environment; making it a great place to work.

As a Factory Shift Manager you will report to the Operations Manager, working along side 3 other Factory Shift Managers, leading a team of around 60 Operatives. You'll be an integral part of a team that keeps the production area running. Being a key member of the operational team looking to drive continuous improvement across the site - this will be achieved by closely managing critical areas including; H&S , Quality, Food Safety, and Training & Development.

You will be forward thinking, proactive and an excellent communicator will be among your vital skills needed to be successful in this role, leading from the front and by example and look to motivate others around you.

About you

• An experienced Team Manager/Shift Manager
• Experience of working within a food production environment ideally baked goods
• Food Safety Level 3
• IOSH trained H&S
