Technical Manager | Food
As the ideal candidate you will have bakery experience, a retail, food service or branded supply chain background and experience of visiting food manufacturers.
Managing part of the bakery supply base you will be dealing with quality and supply chain challenges to maintain excellent quality of inbound ingredients to shops.
Your main objective is to ensure that freshly prepared, good, natural food is compliant with legal and food safety requirements.
You will be required to establish, maintain, review and continuously improve all systems, processes and standards for food safety and due diligence.
Your core responsibilities as a Technical Manager include supplier and product management, implementation of technical and quality standards and to provide support to shops and customer services.
For this role you will have over 8 years' experience in food technical roles, a Food Technology qualification at degree level and in depth knowledge of ingredient procurement, NPD and supplier management.
