The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales - Business Development Manager.

We are specifically looking for someone with knowledge and experience of selling food products or ingredients, (ideally from within the health food, nutrition, or superfood industry), who has a track record of developing a strong sales strategy and personally delivering business development success.

Having the technical capability to identify the applications and promote the USPs of our products to manufacturers, ingredients buyers and resellers is essential for this role.

The role will be customer facing and the role holder must be able to develop a rapport with new clients and provide support that will continually improve our relationship with them. The role holder will also be required to grow and retain existing accounts by promoting innovative solutions, new products and services.

The main duties of the Business Development Manager can be summarized as:

  • Provision of technical knowledge and support to our sales team
  • Development of sales strategy
  • New Business identification and conversion
  • Customer development and account management

This role will involve a combination of office and field-based elements and possession of a driving licence is essential.
