Especially in a factory that create products for the premium retailers. Planning a team of operatives that work in the evenings, managing recruitment, training staff, planning ahead, scheduling, buying chemicals from Holchem and managing the budget.
You will be working in a site where you are leading a team of around 20 hygiene staff that work predominately on nights doing deep clean however your role will be to train and develop your team so that they can be self-managing on the night shift and you can start to think more strategic for the management team. Planning and scheduling ahead.
You will be working at a site which is part of a group that make a range of delicious products for the retailers based in the heart of Dorset. They have a great reputation for their products as you will see most of them in the major retailers. Aside from the products you will be in a small site with a family feel but with all the benefits of a blue-chip manufacturer.
You will have a background in food manufacturing ideally one that has worked 24/7 so you will have had to manage your time across the different shifts. You will also be strategic in your thinking as we are looking for someone who can train the team and can be part of the management team.
