The job

The purpose of the Logistics Manager is to support the smooth and efficient operation of the finished goods warehouse and distribution processes within the business

You will organise the storage and distribution of goods, ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost plus be heavily involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.

Your experience

You will be able to react to problems quickly and will enjoy working within a fast-paced environment. Ideally educated to a degree level in a logistics, supply chain or relevant discipline, you will possess a strong supply chain track record within the food manufacturing industry. You will be a creative problem solver, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills plus be customer focused. You will be IT literate, especially Excel and chilled foods experience is a benefit.

The Logistics Manager job is based in the Home Counties / East Midlands region and is paying £35,000 - £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.

The working hours are initially 5 days per week, however, this may change to a 4 on, 4 off shift in the future.
