The company

As NPD Manager you will be working at a state-of-the-art production facility which manufactures an exciting range of products which are supplied throughout the UK to the retailer, foodservice and manufacturing markets.  As part of a larger group, the company offers excellent opportunities for career progression.

The job

Whilst managing a small team, you will take new products from concept to launch for a range of clients.  Working closely with the company’s customers, you will manage multiple projects at any one time, formulating critical paths for each one to ensure delivery and implementation of a quality product and a timely factory launch. You will ensure and maintain excellent customer relationships and communication, and also ensure that all concepts and developments satisfy price, quality, technical and operational parameters.

Your experience

We are seeking a committed and positive individual with a good creative and development experience from within the food industry, ideally within multi-component and prepared foods. A degree would be a distinct advantage as would dealing directly with the major multiples. You will be an effective communicator, have high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
