Eden Scott’s client is a leading branded and own label food manufacturer; with sites throughout the UK they supply a range of ambient and frozen food products to the UK, and International markets.
The business has benefited from significant growth and investment over recent years. To maintain and to support this growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Planning Manager to join the team.

Reporting to the Site Manager you will be responsible for the strategic operational planning and scheduling for all sites to service UK and International markets.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the control & planning of finished goods at 3rd party logistics sites
Monitor, track and report daily service levels and availability.
Effective utilisation and management of shelf life, production capacities and scheduling to control availability of finished goods and target operational efficiencies.
Utilising latest commercial forecasts as well as key customer short term forecasts.
Lead and co-ordinate the monthly S&OP review process between operational and commercial teams.
Publish, analyse and challenge reports, trends and performance.
Utilise MRP to manage, track and control inventory.
Effective leadership, coaching and managing a team of production and material planners.
Leading the development, utilisation and enhancement of systems (SAP), reporting as well as planning and forecasting tools.
Requirements
You must have previous Planning Management experience ideally within Food/Drink/FMCG.
Strong working experience with MRP/ ERP systems – SAP would be advantageous
High level of IT, reporting and analysis skills.
Ability to identify and analyse trends
Strong communication skills with a ‘can do’ attitude
Good knowledge of continuous improvement
Willingness to travel between sites
