Supply Chain Coordinator

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to take the next step in their career within in this expanding cakes and desserts business.

THE BUSINESS
Highly successful food supplier providing show-shopping cakes and desserts to some of the major retail and catering businesses across the UK.

THE ROLE
·Accurately raise sales orders received externally and through EDI following through to despatching status.
·Responsible for supporting the supply chain with their day to day jobs - orders, returns, liaising with suppliers, responding to queries
·Ensuring all intercompany sales & paperwork are dealt with in a timely manner
·Liaising with Production & Warehouse to ensure stock goes out on time.
·Cover Senior Planner in their absence.
·Regularly communicating with Distributors.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
·A strong amount of experience within the Supply Chain or Planning sectors.
·Ability to work proactively using own initiative & be able to communicate at all levels.
·Ability to work independently, with a professional approach.
·Computer literate and proficient in the use of Excel for data manipulation, with the ability to create pivot tables and look-ups.
·Confidence in working with large amounts of data, with good attention to detail.
·As important as your experience and job capabilities will be your communication skills and team fit.
