Our NPD team within Bow are seeking an ambitious individual who is as passionate about food as they are!

As our new NPD Manager  this is a key role within the team as you will be expected to be at the forefront of leading innovation projects with our customer whilst representing Greencore.

Within this role you will take a lead on the development of our “Hot Food to Go” products which will include a range of sandwiches, toasties and paninis.  

Your  key focus will be to develop new and modify existing products for our customer. We are seeking someone who is a real “foodie” and able to push the boundaries with new flavours and can contribute to new product innovations!

Building a strong relationship with the customer is key in this role and will also involve an element of travel between Bow and our site in Atherstone

• Manage and deliver NPD and innovative projects up to the point of handover to the process team.
• Present new products and upgrades to key stakeholders and the customer  in a professional manner demonstrating in confidence  your food knowledge and expertise.
• Benchmarking of  products regularly to gain awareness of the market for a competitive advantage and contribute to Blue Sky Innovation within the team to maximise competitor advantage.

You’ll have previous experience of working in a fast paced environment with an awareness of project management techniques, in particular critical path and gated processes. 

Ideally you will also have experience working with short shelf life products including hot food product categories (Toasties, Paninis, etc)

Within the role of New Product Development Manager  a good knowledge of food is a must with strong presentation skills and customer exposure.
