The job

The purpose of the Production Planning & Purchasing Manager is to produce an efficient 2-3 week rolling plan maintaining adequate stock levels to customers in line with agreed rules of engagement.

You will liaise with production shift managers daily ensuring most efficient running orders and minimising down times, input and conversion of daily production schedules into ERP system (Unity), communicate any changes to the plan to the factory, liaise with Engineers regarding planned maintenance, host the weekly planning meeting, produce weekly planning KPI’s and reports and liaise with Procurement Planner/Scheduler to ensure 100% availability of raw materials and packaging to meet the production plan.

Your experience

You will be a highly driven and motivated individual with proven production planning, scheduling or other relevant supply chain experience from within a manufacturing environment, most preferably FMCG / food manufacturing industry. Educated to a degree level or equivalent, you will have the ability to manage MRP and calculate overall equipment effectiveness in order to forecast daily capacity and efficiency planning.
