Technical Services Manager

Do you have recent experience as a Technical Services Manager?
Responsible for the management of the site Quality Systems, ensuring procedures and policies are reviewed and updated in line with company, customer and accreditation requirements.
Manage the site quality systems to ensure a regular review is carried out to maintain compliance with company, customer and external accreditation requirements.
Ensure all raw materials are purchased against approved specifications. This includes liaising with suppliers to gather the required information and signing specifications once correct.
Liaise with the site NPD function to ensure the information on the site’s creation database is correct and up to date.
Manage the site Raw Material QA function, ensuring the necessary controls and procedures are in place to ensure raw materials comply with requirements.
Manage the site technical KPI systems on site to ensure daily, weekly and monthly reports are completed and trends are identified to drive improvements.
Ensure the site storage areas are complying with the required GMP standards. This will include working with operational management to drive improvements.
Key Skills Required
A BSc degree is required preferably in a Food related discipline as well as progressive experience in Quality systems within the food industry.
You will be able to demonstrate a high degree of planning, organisational and analytical skills and be able to work with and communicate with all levels in the business.
Experience of quality systems including BRC and or ISO is essential
